Coastlink 2026 (6-7th May, Hull) delegates will have the opportunity to take part in an exclusive port tour of ABP’s Port of Hull, offering a behind-the-scenes look at one of the UK’s most important short sea and RoRo gateways.

Operated by Associated British Ports (ABP), the Port of Hull plays a vital role in connecting the UK with Northern Europe, handling a diverse mix of trailers, containers, forest products, project cargo and bulk commodities. The port is a key hub for trade with Scandinavia and the Baltic region and supports a wide range of logistics and manufacturing supply chains across the North of England.
The port tour will take place following the presentations on Day 1 of Coastlink, 6th May 2026. During the visit, delegates will gain insight into day-to-day port operations, terminal infrastructure and cargo handling processes, as well as the intermodal connections that link the port to road, rail and inland distribution networks. The tour will also highlight ongoing investment and the port’s role in supporting the energy transition and regional economic growth.
The visit provides a valuable opportunity to better understand how short sea services operate in practice, meet port representatives and see first-hand the operational and commercial considerations involved in maintaining reliable, efficient maritime logistics.
Places on the port tour are limited and early booking is recommended.
Join us at Coastlink 2026 to experience the Port of Hull up close and connect with the people and infrastructure keeping short sea trade moving.
