Johan-Paul Verschuure, Senior Port & Transport Economist & Director, Rebel Ports and Logistics confirmed for Coastlink 2026.
With him, he brings extensive experience in the shortsea shipping domain, particularly in Northwest Europe and the UK. Johan-Paul has contributed to numerous high-profile studies, including shortsea strategies for the Port of Amsterdam, market analyses for Zeebrugge, Brexit impact studies for ABP, and fleet and port pricing analyses across the North Sea. He has also advised on the uptake of low-carbon fuels and shore-power infrastructure in the shortsea sector.
Prior to joining Rebel, Johan-Paul held senior roles at WSP Maritime, Haskoning, and Ocean Shipping Consultants, where he led technical and commercial analyses for complex port and shipping projects.
At Coastlink 2026, he will share his insights policy, regulation and technical initiatives, offering delegates a unique perspective on the commercial, technical, and financial drivers shaping the sector.
