Christchurch (New Zealand)-based Jade Software has won contracts to supply its container and general cargo terminal operating system to two marine terminal management companies in Iraq and Georgia.

Understood to be worth about NZ$4m (US$3.1m) over three years, the contracts entail installing the Jade Master Terminal package at the Gulftainer operation in Umm Qasr (Iraq) and Poti Sea Port (Georgia).

The Umm Qasr installation follows Gulftainer selecting the software for its operation in Ruwais (Abu Dhabi) earlier this year.
