AD Ports breaks ground on Luanda Terminal

AD Ports Group, in partnership with Unicargas and Multiparques, has broken ground on the new Noatum Ports Luanda Terminal, one of Angola’s largest port modernisation projects to date

The project, with an initial investment of US$250 million over the first three years and a potential total investment of US$380 million over a 20-year renewable concession, aims to transform the port into a cutting-edge, high-capacity logistics hub.

Spanning 192,000 square metres, the upgraded terminal will be the only one in Luanda capable of handling Super Post-Panamax vessels (up to 14,000 teu) thanks to a 16-metre draft, three STS cranes and eight hybrid RTG cranes.
