EU ports seek customs clarity

The EU’s maritime and port sector has broadly welcomed the adoption of the Council’s General Approach to the reform of the EU Customs Code

Organisations including FEPORT, ESPO and the World Shipping Council commended member states for moving towards a unified customs union that boosts trade, security and competitiveness.

However, industry groups also expressed concern over unresolved issues.
