Hanseatic Global Terminals has officially launched Hanseatic Global Terminals Latin America, marking its first regional expansion and establishing Santiago as its headquarters for operations across both North and South America.
The move represents a strategic milestone for the company, which was founded in 2024 as an independent subsidiary of the Hapag-Lloyd Group, focused on terminals and infrastructure development.

“It marks a significant step in the realisation of our Strategy 2030 and our aspiration to serve our customers as a global terminal operator.”
As part of this expansion, the company has also established two new inland services units – Hanseatic Global Terminals Chile Logistics and Hanseatic Global Terminals Chile Extraportuarios – which will work alongside port subsidiaries to deliver integrated port and logistics services throughout the region.

This regional launch supports the company’s broader Strategy 2030 goal of growing its global terminal network from 21 to approximately 30 facilities.
