Saving fuel and money

Hansa’s container fleet has been using Interschalt’s MACS3 loading computer for a number of years but now they will be upgraded by way of a TROP module.

The TROP module software optimises trim with regards to current loading position and main engine power. It helps improve efficiency further by ensuring best possible ballast position.

Hansa says that this move is another step in the right direction to offer a more modern energy efficient fleet to charterers.
