Senior Project Officer in Unit Sustainability, Department Sustainability and Technical Assistance, European Maritime Safety Agency
Brian has been involved in the application of the EU’s PRF Directive for the last 25 years, firstly at a national level in the UK, and for the last 15 years at a European level whilst working as a Senior Project Officer at the European Maritime Safety Agency here in Lisbon. Brian also leads the Agency’s work in Ship recycling and Ballast Water Issues, is involved in capacity building in the EU Member States and neighbouring States and also works in managing EMSA’s Oil Spill equipment stockpiles in Rotterdam and Helsinki.
