DP World detects market stabilisation

DP World has detected stabilisation in the decline of container traffic – despite a 6% drop in traffic in Dubai for the third quarter of this year.

However this compares with an 8% decrease in the first nine months of 2009. Third-quarter figures posted by the United Arab Emirates this year are similar to those registered in 2008. Chief executive Mohammed Sharaf said he was encouraged by the results.
