New public port for Brazil

Brazils federal government waterway transport agency, Antaq, will issue a tender this year for a new public port to be built in Ilhéus, on the southern coast of Bahia state.

A decision has yet to be made on whether the winner will be the company offering to invest most money in the project or that offering the lowest tariffs to users.
