HHLA in advance

Hamburg container terminal operator HHLA is well advanced with the work of transitioning from diesel-electric powered Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) to battery powered AGVs. The conversion of its 90 strong fl eet is planned for completion by 2023 and will result in an annual reduction of emissions of around 15,500 tonnes of CO2 and 118 tonnes of nitrogen oxide.
