Itapoa Upgrade

Porto Itapoá, the rapidly growing container terminal in southern Brazil, in which Maersk has a 30 per cent stake, has just dded another 50,000m2 to its operational area increasing it by around 20 per cent and further expansion is in the pipeline of up to 150,000m2. Five ZPMC Mobile Harbour Cranes have been added to 17 of the same units already operating in Itapoa, which competes for cargo with the ports of Itajai and Paranagua.
