Kalmar is upgrading and expanding its manufacturing plant in Ottawa, (KS), which is home to the company’s terminal tractor manufacturing operations in North America. The US$21.5 million investment will realise a doubling of the plant’s annual production capacity. Kalmar notes that this investment is being “driven by the growing demand from the logistics industry for eco-efficient equipment solutions that do not rely on fossil fuels to operate.”
