TIDEWORKS RE-BRANDS S.WISE

Tideworks has re-branded its S.Wise product line, designed to help multipurpose terminal operators plan and control terminal processes. The software, part of Tideworks 2004 acquisition of Rotterdambased Sonu Software Solutions, will now be marketed under the Genoa Breakbulk Management System(R) moniker.

Kevin Pomeroy, principal engineer at Bristol City Docks, explains: “The lock gates are over 50 years old and the time had come to restore them. The gates are of riveted steel construction, with greenheart timber at the mitre and heel.

“In line with our longterm product strategy and product integration efforts, we are pleased to announce that we can embed the S.Wise suite of software into our overall Regatta Systems(R) product range, ” says Michael Schwank, president of Tideworks Technology. “Consequently, we have now re-named this product line Genoa Breakbulk Management System v.3.0, replacing our previous conventional system and also offering a whole new range of solutions.” Genoa manages all cargo types and is intended for multi-purpose terminal operators handling conventional cargoes or a mix of conventional and containers.
