Hull and Goole upwardly mobile

ABP's two north Humberside ports have each ordered a Liebherr LHM 320 MHC, primarily for container handling. Both are equipped with automatic telescopic spreader. They also include Liebherr's economy software for optimised fuel consumption as well as a second cabin on the slewing platform offering the same features as the tower cabin.

VECON LPNR and CNR systems will be installed on the six berths at the Busan New Port North Container Terminal, whilst in Hong Kong AVT will provide the River Trade Terminal, which caters for trade with the Pearl River region, with a 'Gate-Out Processing Automation solution' by installing VECON-CON on 5 out-lanes at the terminal.

In Hull, the quay has load limitations that meant again a special propping base and increased wheel-sets to allow travel - 22 of them!
